I’m Bex Spiller, a writer, business owner and SEO expert from Kent in the UK. I have spent the last decade working with some big-name SEO agencies on both on-page and off-page search engine optimisation. Alongside my SEO work, I also run a content agency that specialises in writing articles for online publications such as viral sites and online magazines.
I grew my business from a one-woman band with a desk at the bottom of my bed, to an international content agency with half a dozen in-house staff and a quarter of a million turnover.
This success with my writing business led to me being offered a scholarship for an MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) with Warwick Business School, without any qualifications!
It’s been a real rollercoaster and I’m thoroughly excited to be able to combine some of my biggest passions, including elevating small businesses, to create SEO for Bloggers.

I have always been frustrated about how inaccessible some agencies and companies make SEO seem. Especially when it comes to their price points! We could all benefit from learning a bit more about search engine optimisation and I think bloggers could really reap the rewards.
You see, getting to the top of Google is not just about keyword-stuffing and link swapping… In fact, it’s definitely not about these things. SEO is all about providing value for your readers and Google ranks the sites that do this well at the top. I’ve worked with hundreds of bloggers over the last decade and I’ve seen so many incredible blogs that provide such valuable information and insight.
Yet they’re worried about even looking at SEO because it seems like such a minefield. They focus on trying to improve their DA by getting backlinks from other bloggers, when really the focus should be on providing the awesome content that got them into this in the first place.
SEO for Bloggers aims to help change all that, with a range of services to not just improve your search engine optimisation but to give you actionable tips so you know the whys, whats and hows.
Your blog is your small business and I’ve always been a huge advocate for helping small businesses elevate themselves higher. I’m hoping that my expertise and your creativity can help take your blog to the next level.
